i love that game. it brings me back to the old days when i used to play chips challenge after school. i loved that music but it started getting a little bit on my nerves by the end. this is much better than the demo. word of advice: make it mouse compatible, like chips challenge, much easier on the fingers ::wink wink:: and slow down the damn blade, i got killed 40 times going in, 40 times coming out!! well i look forward to the rest of this series, its an awesome game. oh yeah...make the levels longer.
and yet still so simple. The trapped games have been around for a while now, and I am really want to see a newer one being brought into the Portal fold.
ZZT was a shareware ASCII adventure game circa 1991 that was JUST like this. You moved around in a grid-like fashion, collected keys, solved puzzles... It came with a level editor, and there was a HUGE community of maps. After that came Megazeux, which was the same, only so much better, and you could use MOD files for music (that sounded kind of like the music in this game.)
Anyway, I'm the nostaligc type, and this was pure class. Thumbs up man. The whole Trapped series rocks. Good work.
From Tom's Review, I had to check this out, I figured this would be some graphic blown game that took 10 min to download. But hell no... it was entertaining from this point of view. Not too complicated to where it takes a genius to play it. And doesnt frustrate you either... Good game!
