Plot-wise, it had potential. Lots of it.
But at this point, I stopped giving a damn about the second one. Gameplay's a bit dull, since you only get to fight one monster, and it wasn't really all that scary. But, the animation and voice acting are amazing, and the game is still pretty unique.

Awesome button is awesome,anyway this game I thought wasn't scary.I enjoyed it,oh and a tip in the beginning before the lights go out,you are able to collect ten star sprites.And (spoilers)the end is quite funny when you go back to the elevator and after that large bug guy stops the elevator to tell you something,the character you play as says "I need a nap."(well at least to me)
