Ok, firstly, please do NOT kill me for this being unfinished.
Seriously, I'm asking for MATTER OF OPINION AND IDEAS HOW TO CONTINUE THIS, and about 3-4 hours of work has gone into this so far so please don't consider this some irellavant scrappy thing. ^^;
Melt by Hatsune Miku...I heard this and, well, it made me want to go and confess to the person I like.

I'm kind of terrified of showing them this.
But maybe by the time it's finished, I will be ready.
would a guy into gangsta rap find this music too cheesy? Because I'm a little scared if he hates the sound he'll hate the animation but, this is my way of telling him how I feel and so in the end I probably will.
Any ideas on what to add?
Also, quick tips on backgrounds and storyboards?

Who could resist a hand-made flash like this?!
A cute flash about a cute song sung in a cute way about a girl who is cutely shy and in love with some guy used to cutely confess your feelings is like, totally meta or something. Good job, I could write a whole paper on this.
It was cute and touching and god it made me gush like a girl.
The only real problem I have with it is that around the very end I'm pretty sure you wrote something like "I never want to take you in my arms and tell you 'I love you'" as a translation which I'm pretty sure is inconsistent with what you want to say. (Unless I just misread it or something.) Some things were a little hard to read since they flashed by so fast but they didn't look especially important to the overall story. However, you should either slow it down, make it easier to read or just remove some of the text entirely to make the flash seem more 'finished'
Your art style was a little rough but I understand that this is an incomplete work. Not that I mind, it makes it seem more sincere than if it was more polished anyway. More home made or something... And cute!
The flash itself was cute and heartwarming, even in it's uncompleted state as it is now. The only reason why I haven't voted a perfect 10 is because I want to see the ending!
The guy in question probably won't mind (too much), even if the song is as bubbly as it is. It's you confessing your emotions after all, and this sweet batch of puffy goodness is a better medium than rap would be... Anyway, it's cute and well done and I'm sure he'll appreciate the work and feeling that went into this. He may not get why you chose (to him) some random girly Japanese pop song but he should understand what you're trying to say. (If he doesn't then you'll just have to spell it out for him REAL simple like.) This is the song that inspired you to confess, isn't it? Go for it! Your confessing your feelings in a girly way but your a girl (...right? XD) so it's okay isn't it?
Honestly, if someone said that this video summed up the plot of some shoujo anime I would believe it one hundred percent. I cannot stop saying how good this is. Or how cute.
I have no idea if this was intentional or just because this is unfinished, but the way the characters started out black and white before growing colours was very powerful in my opinion, like they were becoming stronger as the confession grew closer.
I'm wondering if you portrayed the guy accurately though, it's probably best to so he gets that it's about you and him. On that note, make sure the character representing you does reflect you realistically as well.
Since it's based on real life events/feelings, maybe try to incorporate actual events, places and memories that you share? Confessions are a personal thing so don't feel shy, make all of your feelings abundantly clear.
I like how the story is progressing already but it seems to fit the song too much maybe? Again, try to make it more personal to both yourself and him. Not that you have to redo the whole thing, of course. Since the second half looks blank you could fit it in there or just throw in some flash-back scenes or something. Maybe when/why/how you fell in love? It's good as it is though so take everything I say with a grain of salt.
The ending of the song has Miku chickening out and not actually confessing, this is something that you do NOT need to do. You can either use this to show how you've been too shy/afraid to confess before or you could have your character move past this and succeed where Miku didn't.
I think you should leave the ending open ended. If you portray the two of you kissing or something then it might put undue pressure on him. Remember that this is a confession, not a fantasy. The final action should be you finally confessing, what happens next is up to him.
That's all I have to say. I'm sure everyone here is rooting for you and we all hope that you succeed in your mission of love (unless they're all jerks)
