new idea but
its a new idea, but its not a very good one imo. racing games are supposed to be exciting. theres kind of no point in a racing game thats not exciting. this was slow paced and boring. sorry

Vector Race is a computer version of that lecture time classic. Race around circuits you design by altering you cars movement vector every turn. Comes with a full track editor and AI opponent. THere's full instructions in the game but basically each turn you can alter your movement vector by 1 unit in each direction, to do this you can either click on the blue square or twiddle the number spinnres on the control panel.

Fun because it's interesting
I really enjoyed playing this, and can't wait to try out a ton of user-created levels. If you know how or could learn how to program online-multiplayer, I would be in heaven competing against other Newgroundsers.

The Idea is not bad, but the game lacks anything that catches attention or motivates longer playing.

That's hard meaning difficult and Hard meaning radically awesome. If you give AI settings and maybe a training phase this is a front pager for sure.
