Asteroids without moving or long reaching bullets
Basically that sums it up. Your spaceship is static in one place, your attacks only reach a very small distance in front of you. I gave it a 4 due to the simple fact it could have been much better.
Destroying planets can be hazardous to your health, that's a given. The only way to avoid any damage is to destroy the flying chunks of planet that break off after having been zapped by your laser missile guns!
Save your own planet from destruction by ridding outer-space of these maniacal lumps of space junk.
But remember, being trigger-happy can only get you so far. Try timing your missiles to coincide with the trajectory for maximum effect!

Asteroids
What a throw back. I like the visuals and the sound effects in this game, but I had a problem with just about everything else in it. Your ship is stationary, you can only shoot 3 beams at a time, there's no music, and it gets REAL repetitive real fast. I understand that limited yourself to only 3 shots makes it more challenging, but the fact that your previous shots disappear if you, say, accidentally shoot more than 3 really urks me. And I understand that the medium limits some gameplay options: repetition is par for the course, but it doesn't have to be so awfully boring. You can obviously animate, but you need to work on gameplay a little and get something to fill that void-like silence in between rocks blowing up.
