A very addicting game! It deserves a high score. And vieira11, I got 70,000 so hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah ahahahaha!........heh.
This is an entry in the mochiads/revolver "world of 3d" contest. The particles are 3d (a dinky little object I whipped up in Hexagon). They don't really interact in any 3d manner, because that's not required for the contest. ;)
The contest required the use of a particular 3d library that is ... not very friendly.
I could use more verses for the hate song. Preferably not about the game itself, but yanno. ;)
[[ETA: game is now easier ;) Particles sized down, slowed down, and after the yellow balls are introduced, black "diet" balls are introduced. Also, shading added to make things feel more 3d, and !!! better collision detection]]

Not bad for a contest game. =D
It is quite fun.
However, if you make another, add some more power ups. Like invincibility for so many seconds or a forcefield, or even an extra life that pops up every now and then.
I know this makes things a lot more complicated, but it would be fun.

Only so many colors, and there's a lot of balancing to do... I don't want to make it too easy to the point that people get bored instead of dying.

Extra life could start showing up on the level after the diet pills. (white ball?) Or... maybe forcefield then and ...
Man. Don't want to make it _too_ complicated. But I really appreciate the ideas. I think I need to put more effort/logic into what balls show up in the later levels.

the game is fun the only thing though that i hate in a game is when you can get a game over and all you do in the game is get "points' to get a high score and so when you loose you have to start all over. i play games to get further and to play the game not to get a high score. but if it wasnt for that it was pretty decent
Appreciated. :) I really need to work on that--maybe (with your powerups suggestion) you can keep powerups after you die and so work towards a higher score next playthrough...
Stuff like that (powerups, getting further, etc) add a level of complexity to the development that I'm slowly working my way up to (which is kind of sad because the first flash game I started designing was going to have all that...)
