The Protomen
Unrest in the House of Light

The story told by the Protomen takes place in a dystopian future ruled by Wily. No one would oppose Wily's rule except for Dr. Light, who worked in secret to create a robot who would fight back against Wily's robot soldiers. This robot, Protoman, stood up against the leaders of the robot army, but was destroyed. No one would help Protoman; all they could do was stand by and watch helplessly. Not too long after, Light created Megaman.

"Years passed. Nothing changed. The human race seemed weary but content to suffer under Dr. Wily and the robot army. In whispers, they still spoke of Protoman. Eventually, Megaman would find out the truth. Dr. Light knew this.

When Megaman was old enough, Light called him into the workshop and began to explain..."

This is a music video for Unrest in the House of Light by The Protomen (who are AWESOME and happily provided me with 'full permission to disseminate this video'). It's done entirely with Megaman 7 sprites (ripped by Sprites Inc.), which have been recolored, and a few original sprites by me. I also used some PD sprites by the following people (thanks!): FatSatan, Deccus, Umiliphus, Bonzai, Cello, and Space Cowboy.

Thanks for checking it out! This is my very first flash animation, so, you know, please be nice ;)

And if you don't know who The Protomen are, you're seriously missing out:

This is just sweet! I don't even know where to start.

For one the songs were great to being with. They had a plot line that I liked more then that of most movie that are coming out now a days.

The animations are also very well done. The colors and gran effect set the tone just nicely, and nothing in the animation contradicts the script in anyway either.

My only negative comment is that you did not make the first song first but that's just me and it dose not hurt the quality of this pitcher animation anyway.

It is completely solid and true to the original songs. What more could you ask for. (other then more.)

P.S. Review applies to the next one too!

"Fantastic."

I loved this the first time I saw it on youtube and I love it now.

The animation just gives this song a whole new feeling of depth and power that you only get so much of with just the audio version. The Animation quality is great and the sound albeit held back isn't taking away from the subject matter. Great stuff.

"My god, you are awesome"

Protomen are awesome, and I think you've done them justice with your music video.
I actually have dreams of creating videos for the whole album, so if you ever come across them (If I ever get started) please don't think I'm ripping you off.
Also, are there any more videos in the works based on their songs?

"One of the boldest sprite flashes I've seen"

I've heard these songs before, and I have to say, you animated the darkness of the story, and the emotions of the characters perfectly.

Great Job!
