I'm conflicted.

I love the idea of this game and what it's trying to do. I feel like there is a brilliant strategy/defence game in here somewhere, but it's just not quite right.
The controls feel awkward, I don't like the snap-to aspect when selecting things and it annoyed me that I couldn't order my archers in the fort to garrison the tower i'd built. Instead I had to train them as peasants, walk them over to the tower and then retrain them as archers. At which point some went in the tower, some went back to the fort (fair enough) and three guys decided to float in the air above the battlefield?!
All in all, the control aspect of this game is very clumsy and there are a few bugs that need ironing out, but on the whole it is enjoyable and worth a look.

Adiictive

Didn't realize two hours have past, I have to go to bed. This game is great I love it's challenges and strategies the use of scenery as a defense is cool too. The only thing that bugs me is that it limits where you can build your walls which can be very inconvenient at times

slow pace, too easy?

I tended to have upgrades before the instructions said to get them and spent a lot of time just waiting for people to move places and other people to die. Speed didn't seem to differ between low quality or high quality. I think the idea is pretty good, and execution is close, just needs more balance...
