Spent a while on this one. Took a break out for two months or so, but the end result has turned out pretty well.
I know a lot of people wont take kindly to this, saying its just a boring clone with not enough features and what not. But I really felt like I had to make this game - the main thing about geometry wars for me was the dazzling glow and the effects, a lot of other games simply dont have that. So, I made this for me.
I really enjoyed making this, it proved an interesting challenge. One of the things I'm increasingly doing with flash games is trying to move away from the hand-drawn animated graphics look and steer toward something more traditional with manual pixel pushing routines and some nice filter use.
So, thats it I guess. Hope you enjoy!

I have to correct Buddy 1006 here, it isn't supposed to be like Geom wars, in fact this was just a visual reprosentation of what can be done using flash, and alot of effort has been put into this, it has a few errors, but what doesn't? i personally think this game is great, and alot better than the majority of flash games around at the moment, Well done James greate job!
WHY?
this a clone of geomtry wars and not a good one here are some suggestions: 1 Try somthing else then making clones (no offense 2. add upgrades thats something geomtry wars doesnt have 3. add different enemies so theres my suggestion this a O.K. clone but i expect more from you so keep making Games! and i understand what you were going for with the Geometry Wars thing but it was a bit TOO bright and i kind of hurt but otherwise it was very well put together so good job.

its very good.. awesome graphics and cool effects.. but it needs upgrades dude and some kind of bomb weapon.. make them into waves too b/c there are so many enemies at one time that there isnt time to regenerate so its hard ..
but other than that.. its awesome
