"Hmm..."

Not really sure what to say about this...

The effects were pretty nice and you orchestrated it perfectly to fit 'Entering The Stronghold' but there were a few snags.

The main one is how you implemented the music. You just began halfway through the song (something I noticed right away) and it was so quiet that the epic feel of it just went away.

Fixes: Fade in the music. Make it a LOT louder. This piece was visual expression with music as a guide. I don't have a clue what you wanted to convey if I can't hear anything.

8/10 (Minor improvement needed)

Author's Response:

thanks for the review. I guess I didn't think it needed turning up because my headphones are pretty loud (*shrugs*)
also...I didn't think there was anything wrong with starting halfway through the song.
There was only so much story to tell.

"Artwork was very nice"

It may not have been that memorable, but the use of CGI was pretty impressive, and it was nice to see an interesting mix of animation in a flash. I enjoyed it very much.

I love the effects in there, and the music fits great. Really good job! The story is a bit hard to follow, like zero123music said, but nonetheless, 5/5, 10/10 ;) I don't mind the preloader. It looks great, that's enough for me.

Author's Response:

:D Thanks.
Yeah, I'm starting to feel that it must've been difficult to follow.

Obviously, to me, I know what's going on, so I don't realise.
But I've put as much effort into the third one as i can to make sure this doesn't happen again.
Thanks for the review.

"So random-ish"

date: December 15, 2008

I guess it had a story, but none the less I loved everybit of it!

The end was really classy :)

I suggest fixing the preloader, then editing it in "your flash submissions" page, or at least put instructions on how to skip the preloader..

Other then that, it's amazing!

Author's Response:

The preloader works enough.
you just have to wait for it to finish loading, and it comes up with the 'play' button, it just doesn't show the progress.
...'random-ish'...hmmm
But I'm glad you liked the ending.
and thanks for the 10.

"Quite captivating."

Ah, it's so difficult to review this because I've already told you most of my thoughts on this already, haha, and I dislike repeating myself. As I've said, it was very cinematic, and created a great deal of suspense with the unfolding events. I was incredibly impressed (like before) with the special effects and particularly pleased with the lighting effects when he crashed on that mysterious planet, which was something I hadn't seen before. The light was very vivid, and very realistic. I can tell how much work you put into all the shading and the explosions and the various 3D shapes, so I'm really glad that it turned out well. It's getting to be quite an interesting little series and I can't wait for number three. Well done.

Author's Response:

Heh, thanks.
I wouldn't have minded if you'd repeated things, because then they're out in the open, and not in my inbox :P
You only originally only saw up too...him crashing into the tree, I think, so I guess you wouldn't have seen the blue planet...
an improvement on him 'opening his eyes'? :P
