Edit: With the whole last sprite thing, I was mostly referring to what I normally do. Which was movies. With a game, I don't exactly see it as a parody. I've had this game just sitting around, it was to be the "Power Star Game", but instead I turned it into a short little fun experience.
Your Super Mario! What does that mean? It means you gotta go kick Bowsers ass! And thats exactly what your going to do!
Heres a fun little short game I made with my sprites. Power Star fans, this is your game.

Best mario game ever!!!
I dont know why anyone saying it could have been better my thing is do it your self!! Im sure makeing such a great game was long and hard and it paid off lol I can see a part2 comeing soon right? like bowser comes back and now you know how your game feels and plays the next will have more to test out this was the best game really.^o^

Pretty good, but could of been amazing.
You had the right idea, but I think you can go much farther with this concept. Like some others have said, it could use some more levels with a wider range of enemies. Maybe even a couple more bosses. And how about some items and powerups? It would be fun to become Fire Mario, you could have some more range and damage to your moves. And maybe throw in a couple swords so that you could do some of the swordplay we saw in Power Star? I don't know, I just really enjoyed this game and would like to see more like it.
