A good start, could use improvement

First off, I will say I love the basic gameplay mechanic. Games like this are typically pretty fun and twitch reaction based.

However, games like this rely on a sensation of speed. Walls don't come up very quickly, and there is no moving background. If there was a simple background quickly scrolling to the left, the game would feel like it was going much faster, while simultaneously making the game more visually interesting.

I will say the minimalist, ASCII - like art looked very nice and fit the presentation well. I know a background might seem like it would clutter up the minimalist style, but it may be a good investment to put one in and up the framerate.

This was a fairly enjoyable game that left some good room for improvement. Hope to see more games from you in the future - possibly even a sequel to this game utilizing the ideas mentioned above. Keep it up!

It's good, but needs some improvements...

Pros:

Very good idea, creative

Nice, simple look that does not slow the game

Fireworks in the background was a nice touch

Walls came at random

Ball rolled when you moved it

Score accumulates over time

Counts how many walls have been jumped

Cons:

The worst thing about this game is that it is extremely slow paced

Music is repetitive and boring

Walls come on top of eachother

Low jump is useless (can be fixed by adding walls in the air)

Movement is slow

Improvements:

Make walls come faster (most important)

Make walls not come on top of eachother

Make a type of wall that only low jump can get through

Better music for sure, more intense music

I like that you did not make it all fancied up and you made it simple, but you can have a few more things (A few buildings in the background, etc.)

Make movement faster, make everything faster!! I can't say that enough!

Have more fireworks! lol :D

Notes:

This game could be amazing if you can just spend a few more days on it! It would take a very small amount of tweaking to make everything 100% better. I'm sure that if you just improved it a little bit, this game could make front page. Please, spend a little more time on this game, I'm ecstatic about the next one!!

you should make the controls more easier like the original space=jump and the arrow keys to move

Glitchy

The concept and the game itself was okay but the controls are not very well thought out and the whole thing is glitchy.
