EDIT: this is only my SECOND flash work.. some people think i've been doing this for years, i only have 4 weeks of experience.. i think this game is pretty good considering!

I HOPE YOU ENJOY THIS TOTAL PROGRAM OVERHAUL!
I gave the game a complete revamp, now with movable windows, and easier to read text! 50 waves, easily upgraded to 100 if i want next update ( the waves are generated not hard coded) I'm having trouble having the program generate the mobs in such a way that they progress smoothly with difficulty for the player. Please give me feedback if its too hard/too easy/ or what should be changed! In the final vesion, there will be cool things like artifacts that are found randomly after kills that can be inserted into the turrets for stat enhancment. Also you will be able to pick an element for each turret for a small fee. that turret will do better/worse against particular mobs depending on their element! You will also be able to gain experience as well as credits from killing mobs, using weaker turrets gains you more experience. upon gaining levels you can use your upgrade points for major upgrades that effect all your turrets! stay tuned for all the nice extras in the final version of this 2.0 remastered version!

Great Work!

I loved it basically. Yes, you do need to sort out the upgrades. Add more turrets and misc. too. And level designs. And the levels were a bit easy. And some of the turrets were a bit slow, but otherwise, great game! I enjoyed it!

good and addicting,

but there were some problems:
1- it was way too easy, i played on easy mode (because i usually suck at these), and none of the waves got more than 15% through the course
2- the upgrades were a little unbalanced relative to the other turrets. the green turret could be upgraded to the power of the red turret for about 300cr, whereas the red turret needed a couple thousand to reach the range of the green turret, so the red turrets because somewhat pointless
3- you cant delete/sell/destroy the turrets
4- "you can click send wave" while a wave is already in progress
5- the colors were a little annoying too. instead of grey on black, use a brighter color for the text, even white is fine

those were the only 5 problems i found that lowered the gaemeplay value
fix those for version 3.0 and youre good to go (did i just rhyme?)

fun

Fun game, a bit addictive. Needs a little bit more tuning, and possibly an upgrade scale. And more turrets. Other than that, kick ass. XD

What's this light black on dark black?

Your instructions have quite near invisible text. Fix that first... Then the track. Your tracks are dark as your text. At least the lighting gives it SOME visibility. Trust me though I see potential in this. Just make things more see-able. Everytthing's just... painful to the eyes.

KMibu responds:

everything looks perfect on my screen. are you sure your monitor's brightness isn't turned down or some other setting?

Meh.

It's as if Geometry Wars made a sub-par Tower Defense. And that's not a good thing, as I believe the Geometry Wars approach of graphic-making is extremely lazy.

KMibu responds:

I'm not lazy, that is actually the extent of my graphics drawing skills. I'm still trying to get better at making gfx, and i would rather make my own easy little graphics than steal from something else like most other people. at least its my own work... Neat and simple is better than awesome and stolen. besides thats the look i was going for, its "MINI' defense, not complex defense
