It's been a long time since I submitted something. This is a pretty straightforward falling game I did for a school assignment (with just a few touch-ups since then). While the teachers were completely baffled and gave me top grades, I'd like to see what the harsher critic that is Newgrounds has to say about it.
And before you ask, I'm not going to add online highscores or music. Leaving these out is a concious choice on my part, and not the result of lazy development.
Edit: The invincibility bug that happened when you had over max lives should hopefully be fixed now. If you find any other bugs, please let me know through reviews or PMs!
Several problems
You need to make it to where points accumulate without the coins, because the coins become basically impossible to get after a few minutes, and that means there is no incentive to survive any longer. Also, maybe start the ball at the bottom when you hit the spikes, so you don't lose all your lives at once. And remove the life cap so you can accumulate more than what, 5?

You get points basically just for staying alive (specifically, 10 points for every platform you pass), the coins are just bonus points. The life cap is there to make sure you don't get a huge amount of lives in the beginning purely out of dumb luck,
The "start at the bottom" tip is pretty sound, although you do have invincibility for a few seconds after losing a life, which mostly helps you get away.

Simple graphics, they do the job though. Controls work brilliantly. The game could use some audio, but Oh well. Again, nice game. Good luck on your next effort..........vp

Game was pretty cool, very clean, after a while starts to get too difficult and points accumulate painfully slowly. Nothing mindblowing. 8/10

Very like a game I was addicted to on my old phone expect you had to wait until the platform appears our else you died too. Other than that like it
