Shortly after I released the original 'abstracta' game, peterinns from Mariosonicgames.com suggested I made a Sonic themed version of the game, and here it is!
It's a simple little fan-game building on the original abstracta gameplay, but more focused on speed, which has always been what I loved about Sonic. That and the music :-)
Anyway, I hope you enjoy it!

It was okay.
Way too many questions being asked about this >_> It's a game people! Enjoy it.
The game doesn't have much in it, but with the constantly increasing speed, it keeps the game from getting too repetitive. The game is good. Got exactly 6000 points on my first try :D

Umm Sonic?
Thats not Sonic thats METAL Sonic, who is an Evil Robot clone of Sonic created by Doctor Robotnic in Sonic CD, if you are going to be a "fan" game make sure you know what your talking about next time.
The game is kinda fun but its to repetitive sorry man.
You're right, I used the best sprite pose I could find for the scuba-diving animation paint-over. I doubt a lot of people will notice, and hope it's not too big an offense to the hardcore fans :-)

i think the game could have been a little better... it should have been A LOT faster and with a lot more enemies!
