I just cant find another way to describe it. The pure irony made you think that maybe he imagined the whole thing and he never saw the devil and was just hung. Or maybe, all of it happened. It's sort of a paradox.

theres been a lot of hype around this movie so i decided to check it out

great story/animation/character design, but the colours really bothered me for some reason. the characters weren't in a different tone to the already bright backgrounds so it looked kinda scruffy

great job on everything else though

"My favorite flash."

I watched this flash a year a go during a short stop in an internet cafe, while i was deployed in Iraq. Something about the mixture of the music and the animation struck a cord with me. When i got home something made me think about it again and i looked all over the website for it and eventually considered it a lost cause, until someone answered my forum post and directed me here.
Thanks for making an awesome video and it is now added to my favorites.

"Very good"

This was very entertaining to say the least. However I see a lot of similarities to the short story "An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge." In that story a soldier is about to be hanged, then manages to escape and travel to his home. The reader later realizes that the last part was a hallucination and he never left the hanging block at all and was killed. Not exactly the same but PRETTY close.

Actually i didn't expect a lot. But the animation is pretty good. Flat drawings. It worked I think.
