This is a spoof off of the Mac vs PC commercials. The moment I heard that Mortal Kombat would battle DC in the upcoming game, I literally shit myself. Boring
Using sprites is one thing I have nothing against, but they're far too static. It's boring to watch, which instantly kills whatever comedy it might have had.
