I've seen a movie similair to this called animation vs animator or something, which means the majority of your audience will have too and will compare the quality of that animation with yours, which may not favour your entry.
To improve I'd say try and take the idea beyond what the other flash has, give the characters more props to work with and try to build the personality of the character more (which should be easier when you give them more props to play with.)

The concept of a drawing coming to life and attacking its master/ creator isn't very new but still you put some effort into it. The animation was smooth enough, the sound effects worked and so did the Ad code. :P

but you probably could have put a little more effort between the epic battle between the hand and its art. Also kinda weird how the hand was severed off and was floating around as if it was two-dimensional but whatever.

It was ok.. just need a bit of improvement. :)
