I had made this in Advanced 3D Animation. I had to make a THX trailer, no real guidelines were given, other than for it to end up with the logo.
The creatures are of my own design. The purple one is a phage, a scavenger that can turn into whatever creatures it eats. I'd like to make a side view puzzle game with the idea sometime. I hadn't really come up with names for the other creatures yet.

"Good animation!"
For a trailer, this was quite impressive. I'm not used to seeing CGI here on Newgrounds, and it's a real treat whenever I do see it. While there wasn't much going on, it's obvious you're good at this sort of thing. If you're planning on making this into a movie, or at least a movie on NG with full CGI, I'd be very interested to seeing it. It was cool and funny how that whatever-it-was changed into whatever. It's absurdity that makes this site great.

I like the particle fx, ad how the creatures warp from one to another
however, the THX sound was nowhere near as loud and dramatic as it is supposed to be...
fix the sound and it's a 10..
I'm guessing that's from it being compressed in AfterEffects and again in Flash.

I really enjoyed it, the creature is a cool concept. The only downside was it was a little dark, not overly, I understand that it is a black room, and you wanted the light to mostly be sourced from the THX symbol, but it did make it a little hard to see the character moving around. When I watch a THX trailer I tend to want to focus more on the part that isn't in every one. Maybe adding another light source so the character becomes more noticeable?
I'm actually thinking of totally redoing the entire thing, characters, lighting, and all. I want to redesign the creatures so that they're a bit more life-like.
