"Great game, BUT"
The target priority is SHIT! Every time on hard mode, those big ships will come in with shields, and my missiles will knock their shields out, and THEN START SHOOTING AT SOME OTHER SHIP! Thus giving the first ship the time to recharge its shields and start the whole process over again, whilst hammering away at my planet. I die there every time not once have I gotten past that part, making this hair-tearingly frustrating to play! Besides that though it's a very well done and stylish game it just has some serious balance issues such as the price for the laser defense turrets. 600 B for something that won't even hit them back? And it certainly won't keep all their missiles out because its got such a poor refire rate. And that's after research cost.There's just about no way to keep your population up enough so that you can earn enough money to keep all your towers upgraded.
A frustrating game, but one that I keep coming back to play xD

This is a really good game. The only bad things that i can see would be the delay time between waves and the bad income rate. There should also be a really powerful weapon in the later game.

I loved this defense game. It was pretty much my ideal defense game, besides a few points.
I'm glad this one didn't have a player controlled cannon. I always hated those. (In reference to those under me.)
The only thing I could really ask for is that the place where you put the cannons and that were moved or put in a different order. And a few more choices on attack options, those few cannons weren't really enough.

.... Buuuuut.... As suggested below me....
Add a player controlled weapon, perhaps?
That or add a bit more delay time between attack waves, to allow recuperation.
