Edit: 5th place daily and Tut collection.. Awesome! Thank you... Note: As time permits I will being editing this to make it better..

I wasn't happy with the first version so I made the menu prettier, added some things, and fixed some typos.
This is a Tutorial designed to help those just starting out in flash.. It covers adding preloaders, adding sound, and optimizing sound... The lesson parts are pretty plain, the reason for this is so it is easy to read and so there are no distractions..
If you are an intermediate flash artist/game maker, this may not be much help to you... but you never know..

"A very special case..."

date: June 27, 2009

U seem to have covered many themes in here, but I got this very very nasty case: I have this flash, with 61 sound files, most of them placed as stream in the video, but when I publish it into a swf., LIKE 8 OF THE SOUNDS JUST WON'T WORK!!!! And when I publish it a message sayiing something like: "the SWF file has many elements of a sound file"

Do u know what is happening when a sound just refuses to play? (yes I allready played alot with the publish settings thingy...).

"an essential tutorial"

date: April 10, 2009

Everybody who's new to submitting should read this. It helped me in so many ways in reducing file sizes, and the linked websites provided awesome sound editing tools. Of course since I'm using AS3 the preloader section didn't help much, but that's ok I already found a tut and built a preloader with NG's logos for whenever I finish my first flash. Back on topic, great tutorial with mix of text, animated visual guides, and some easy-on-the-ears music.

This is one useful tutorial. I don't think there's anything you didn't explain. This would defintiely help anyone trying to make a flash with music. Thank you for making this.

"Awesome Dude!"

This was useful for showing the free programs that were available out there that I wasn't even aware of. They can defiantly help with making better Flash projects a bit easier! Thanks for taking your time to teach others!
