Here it is. This was a long time's worth of work. Although the episode itself may be slightly boring, I tried to add in a little
humor. It is the first episode, so the second one will be a lot
more interesting. I tried a lot of frame-by-frame animation here
and I think it turned out great. Sorry for no voices yet.
Anyone feel like pitching in? XP

Interesting

HHmmm..... I liked it, i think you'll get better at later. You should think about putting voice overs for more sound.

Okay, but needs background music

It reminds me of the stereotypical Sonic Fanfiction "OC gets dropped into Sonic's world, discovers he has fur, tail" storyline, a popular method of self-intertion... but I don't think it's been done that much in hand-animated flash.

Your animation style reminds me of simple anime, but with small circle eyes instead of the usual big, colorful eyes. This flash has wonderfully animated faces, especially the expressions Kichi (the OC) makes. It's hillarious!

I especially like this part:
Knux: "I know why you're here..."
Kichi: *Ears perk up, smile grows, blinks happily* "Really?"
Knux: "YOU'RE HERE TO STEAL THE MASTER EMERALD!"
Kichi: *Ears go flat and shake in the wind, eyes go dizzy, smile turns into dizzied grin/frown, head bobs up ad down as Knuckles shakes him*

However, this flash does need more detailed/colorful backgrounds; the best background was the video game demo (and it was made of sprites!). Your drawing in general could use a little more refinement, but that comes with experience.

Now, on to the audio. The sound effects were appropriate and timed correctly, but there was a complete absence of background music except for a nice little ambient loop playing near the beginning and a video game clip playing near the end.
Was there supposed to be voice clips playing when the characters talked? That ambient loop stopped abruptly when Knuckles started talking, with no new audio to cover it, and I think one of the opening credits attributed a voice actor ("Voices thanks to:").

Again, good work. Remember, voice acting is totally optional - but BGM is a must, trust me. Next time, add some music and a few more background features, and you'll be on your way to your own series page.

TuxedoCat responds:

Thanks a bunch! Yeah, I might look around for some good Backround music and I'm getting a few voices too. And I hate to agree with you, but right now my plot does sound pretty cliche. But, I hope to make it a little better with time. XD

cool

this was not that boring so good luck on the rest of ur vids

Nice It's Really nice....

the animation is good, but get the voices in there. it seems kind dull will limithed sound. or have them speak in gibberish.

Great

Great for a third try. I'm also a semi-beginner with flash who just started a series of movies. You and I don't seem too different. The art work was good and the animation was smooth. You have lots of potential as an animator.
