It really couldn't have. The abrupt ending is pretty important to the plot. Unless you wanted to watch them stand there doing nothing for a bit, which I think might have actually been better.

Thanks, and yeah it definitely could have been cleaner. Honestly, there are a load of things left to work out before I'd say it was "good" but it was a fun excerise.

And I appreciate your 2 cents. This cartoon wasn't going to be for most people, and I was aware of that when I submitted it. Very much something oriented to a niche audience.

To be honest to story wasn't even the point, it was a place holder. The point of this is interaction, that desire for some human contact even when it's awkward and misplaced. I hoped that how quickly the fellow in the red shirt revealed his girlfriend was pregnant with a child not his own would convey that need. I suppose it didn't.

The camera movement was overdone, I admit, but it was jerky for a reason, one I won't delve into at the moment.
