Indianna Gnomes Demo

Comtrols are simple. Left and right arrow keys to move, up to melee, and space to shoot. This is just a teaser for my upcoming game "Indianna Gnomes: Raiders of the Grimmoire", which is like Raiders of the lst ark, but instead of being the lost ark, it's the Book of Abramelin the Mage. I do intend on changing the battlesystem to enable more actions. Right now there is only three levels of boss fights. The green bar is your Hp, and you have a limited amount of ammo. Please note that sometimes, if you move after shooting, your bullet will disappear for some reason. There is no preloader, so be sure you're ready before starting up the game.

pretty cool

it was cool after beating the wizard and this game shows promise

good game but

make it easier, and give the gnome a block skill or more hp

well

the graphics you had were great, but what were the controls?!?!?! i had space to shoot and up arrow to stab, but both of these attacks were ineffective against the "cave crawler." and the 'bite thrice' attack was unavoidable and was a huge hit to my gnome. looking forward to the real thing ,and glad this was only a demo...

XZenX responds:

Lol! I did that on purpose. Each boss has a specific way to be beaten. The cave crawler can only be beaten from behind. How? That I won't reveal.

good

graphics are good, but it needs a few things a solid storyline, sound music, and make where you are when it attacks you and you attack it more sensitive, it shouldn't be able to hit you when your on the other side of the screen, and you shouldn't be able to hit it.

Buggy

You can easily defeat the first two by standing close enough to kiss them, and then just melee. I assume that is a bug. Also, if you DON'T do that, the enemies will kill you before you can kill them, regardless of how many knife wounds or bullet holes they have.

Then, when playing, I noticed that somehow, the last two-three inches were cut off of the right hand side of the screen, making it impossible to continue after the second enemy unless you right-click forward.

I think it deserves a remake, though. It has interesting elements, but the demo just can't live up to it's promise.

XZenX responds:

Yeah, I forgot about that when I re-sized the screen. To make it faster, just do the right click thing,.
