I liked this game. Fun and fairly straight forward. The distribution of the enemies made it an attack and retreat type of game... whenever you were low on health, you just need to retreat back to the underpopulated base to heal and get ammo. It was obviously intended to some extent, and I felt it gave the game a little bit of uniqueness.
Improvement? I'd like some actual goals to accomplish, killing respawning enemies forever doesn't really do it for me. If it was set up as a level based game, ie 'kill the 10 enemies to proceed', I would like it a lot more. You could even throw in bosses for some levels (air fortress, red baron dogfight, etc.).
