on 04/28/04, due to numerous requests in the reviews section, i removed the 80-day time-limit from the game.
There is no ending, unless you die or quit. I suppose if you want to be hardcore about it, check your score after 80 gamedays and stop playing :)

A true Newgrounds classic.
I'm not giving this a 10/10 just because I'm lazy or stupid. I'm giving this a 10 because this game is more than 11 years old and it's still great to play. It's more or less like a stock market game, deciding when to buy and sell your stock (later on in the game, cocaine becomes the only thing worth trading), with random events to keep it interesting. I think I might have found a glitch though that helped me stay alive +1000 days. When you're in a "firefight" with the cops, if you click on the "cap their asses" button and hold it for a few seconds before letting it go, it seems to dramatically increase your chance of killing them in a single turn. Too bad it's not real money. I would be a hundred-millionare in less than 3 years, but surgury for the gunshot wounds would probably be painful and just as expensive. One SMALL flaw I found in this game is that there's no way to turn the music on and off while you're playing the game, only on the start and game over screens. I have this downloaded on my computer and play it all the time. Getting richer and richer never gets old. ; )

Meh
Fun for a few minutes - which is all you really can ask of a flash game. The economy engine is pretty standard. The downside is that there isn't much else to do, very few upgrades, and you can't really interact other than through buying & selling. Why put anything in the bank? Good game for its time, but there are other such games that are better. If you like this one, I strongly suggest you look into "Caravaneer."
