Happy veterans day! I whipped up a little something yesterday and today to show support for our troops, who have the job of risking their lives to keep us safe at home. The other day, an army recruiter came to my school. I sang "Rock the Casbah" and asked him about a possible invasion of Iran. I felt kind of bad, I guess... He wasn't offended, rather, he just didn't know what to say. I know this flash is short, but it took a lot of work, especially the BG, which I worked over 2 hours on [It bears a striking resemblance to Iwo Jima]. I also adapted a new bouncing style for this. If any of you out there are troops, God bless you, but please, please, please, get out of Iraq soon...

Not because I don't want you to support your troops. But overall, the flash was of a moderate quality.

And as a European watcher, perhaps it's less difficult for me to throw the Troop-loving-thought away and look at the flash as it is.

I like that you are thinking of the troops, but still, it just wasn't a great flash. I just felt the animation was lacking overall.

The Strawberry soldier is lacking, but Doom Dock soldier was pretty good, IMO. I think it all comes down to the smoothness of the bouncing, don't you?

Well sir, I appreciate that at least one person decided to celebrate the day on NG. I haven't seen any other veterans day movies here, so I give you points for that. The animations were smooth and the coloring made it look like an old war movie or something. Nice job.
