You have potential.
First, the good:
Your animation was very nice. Crisp, fluid, smooth, simple, etc. Good job on that. If you can pull that off, you're capable of some pretty nice stuff.
Now, the bad:
It was very, very short. Not much substance to it. It's only a few seconds long. Also, no preloader or anything. If it looped into itself smoothly, it would be alright, but that wasn't the case. Also, add some sound.
In the end, you have talent. You just have to spend more time on your work. If you took this flash, added to it, spruced it up, made it longer, etc, it would pass easily, and probably with a good score.
