Star Wars A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away....

Author Comments

Before there were war-machines, genetically created warriors or supernatural samurai the fate of the universe rested upon a different breed of hero. They had no special powers, and most barely had any military training. They were few in number and had only make-shift weapons yet they were willing to stand up against the greatest force in the galaxy to protect their liberty. They were Rebels...

Perhaps my most complex film to-date, this film stands as a tribute to the true heroes of the SW universe. Please vote fairly based on skill & technique and not your views on Star Wars. Comments are always appreciated!

* Thanks all for Daily First! PS.. a 'little' SW knowledge helps. If you haven't seen movies 4-6, shame on you =) Also, please note: THIS IS NOT A COMMENTARY ON IRAQ. Do not confuse Rebels with Terrorist Insurgents. Think American Revolution 1770's

So beautiful...

Wow that was beautiful, I'm seriously tearing up here. I'm actually an Imperial but I have to respect the Rebel alliance for what they did. Seriously, this was very well done, very well animated, perfect sounding... but I mainly give credit to you for making it so awesome. May the Force be with you!

Nice!

We'll as stated earlier a lot of us do wonder about the Rebels sometimes..One thing I noticed though was that Slave 1 in the rebel squadren? :O What's Boba Fett doing there?
Haha!
Anyway great work, dispite what some say I liked the ending.

sniffle

I love you man. No one ever credits the lowly soldier. Now thanks to this and the battlefront series we can make them known to all.

..............................

I honestly think that maybe this was a waste of time, my first thoughts were "fuck, what a star wars geek", but then, I began to see the symbolism. Good Work. However, do fictional characters need a tribute? I can understand tributes to 9/11, the troops, and the occasional D-Day tributes, but those events are real and have occured in more than just fiction.
And like all of these 'serious' star wars tributes, I did notice an error....that awoke my inner star wars geek....That particular Jedi died in episode three. Don't say maybe she survived long enough...blah blah. There are like, fourteen years between episodes three and four, there is no way that she survived getting blown up on a speeder bike for fourteen years.

Also, good job on the Vader voice, I wasn't too fond of the person who did the Sith Lord's voice. So, other than my issues with this piece, good job.
