We all have a little ninja deep in our soul, asking '' Will there be any samurai to assassinate today?''
In this game you will meet 100 opponents that you will get to kill in 18 different fashions.
Your inner quest for samurai blood is over; the one of NINJA GUIJI just begins.
- Pick Up and Play
- Labyrinth Style Levels
- After kills, player position remains, AI resets
- No Frills or Extra Features (inventory, exp/character development, etc)
All in all, I found it enjoyable... but with all the coffee I'm on, I could only play like the first two levels before I was "over it". With that said, I'm kind of under the assumption that all the levels look like the first two, and the only thing that changes the difficulty is the placement and paths of the samurai. A little more development of the game world could really bring out the potential of this one, such as not selecting targets from a map, but maybe actually having to traverse some countryside with random samurai/AI to get to your destination. Additionally, I think implementing an inventory system with items to help you deal with tricky situations (such as decoys, smoke bombs, etc) would be another great addition, where your level of proficiency on a given mission would directly effect how much currency you have to spend on items, or something like that - that's just my very rough suggestion off the top of my head.
I know I would be very pleased to see another game like this, not necessarily a sequel, as that implies some kind of connected story/premise, with some of the aforementioned improvements/features.
Thanks for sharing!
very entertaining.. for a while
but its the same thing all the time, you kinda get bored before youre half way through the plot (well, half is a wild guess)
quite simple game, still watching the killing animations is very entertaining, one can only wish there were more and in full color.
