First off, for those who don't know, Roleplay 2 is a mod for C&C: Renegade that is closely based off GTA: San Andreas. So I figured, why not make a vid like the intro vid for San An?
Simply, this is just a promo vid for our mod, which I thought was cool cuz I made mostly in Flash.
The video was captured ingame in Renegade, then all the editing was done in Flash. Everything you see in the videos is original modeling, nothing ripped from other games or stolen off the internet.
Hope you enjoy, for more info, check out the site at the end of the vid.
And lastly, sorry for large filesize, .avi's will do that to ya...
Pretty damn cool
That was alright. Really caught the GTA: SA style. I definatly would like to try it out myself.
you only get 9/10 cause it took 20 minutes to load.
That was the original goal, to capture the San An style. Glad you thought it was well done.
As far as 20 minutes for load, heh, I can't help that.
Thanks for the good review score and even better vote!
It would make a great game. It has great music during the promo, and it had some good 3D graphics included. I say go ahead make the game and see how people reace to it.
Game I dunno about...
The movie is supposed to be simply a promo for an upcoming mod, any gaming would be done in the other game itself, not the Flash (mainly cuz I don't have the slightest clue how to make a half decent flash game...)
Either way, thanks for the complements and good score.
That was pretty awesome
You should seriously consider doing this more often and get seriously into flash :).
I've tried. First it's hard coming up with an idea. Once I get an idea, if it's not finished very soon, I lose interest quickly, which is unfortunate, cuz I find myself to actually be pretty good at this Flash stuff. I have more half finished Flashes than completed ones (all on my site btw lol).
Either way, thanks for the great review.
Honestly, not bad.
When I saw the title, which I just happened across today on a random day in a month to come onto Newgrounds, my first thought was "Great, a movie that belongs on YouTube, 0 time"
But this was not it at all.
This came out very well, I liked the theme of the intro of GTA: SA. Simple, but original as well.
I enjoyed it, the movie skipped a tad on some scenes when recording, but it's good.
But, apox! No credit for me? That's just some straight up bullshit.
Nevertheless, it was a great clip, 9/10 for not giving me credit, but a 5/5 for excellant quality.
I appologize for not adding you in the creds somewhere, I was trying to fit in as many as I could, but I had limited opportunities to do so. Perhaps I'll amend that.
Thanks for the great vote and review.
GOod job! :D
This can actually pass as a nice flash intro ^^
