"Great Parody"
date: April 8, 2009
Animation is very good. Even though you took the audio directly from the source(which is debatable on whether it's a good idea or not), I can see you matched the animation perfectly insync with the movements in the 300 film. You also were able to capture the same blood style. In the original film when there was blood it seemed to linger in the air briefly before falling. You must have watched that clip countless amount of times.
However there are pros and cons to using audio (depends on how much) from the film that you parodied. If you use alot or all original audio, you automatically build yourself a guideline or a blue print that you'll have a tendency to follow. Without using original audio, but still aiming for a parody, there is more leeway.
Niether method is wrong. However you might find one to be more flexible than the other. And by flexible I mean you can say one line from the beginning of the original film in your flash and imediatly afterwards say a line from the end. Like I said before the audio is like a blue print; use your own audio and you will only have to follow your own guidelines.
Pico Day 2009 is coming up. It'll be my first Pico Day, I can't wait to see what you'll have in store.
PS. The grammar police are going to arrest me.
