EDIT: Revision B uploaded. Heres the formula to the boss: He will charge attack you after taking a certain number of steps(~7), else he will just normally attack you. He does get faster as the level progresses, but not fast enough that it will take less than 7 steps to reach you. Headshots do the most damage.
NOTE: Low quality is recommended.

Way to ruin a game
You ruined this game with the retarded five lives crap. Why even have lives?? How antiquated. Don't you realize that more people would play it and rate it higher and BEAT it if you just did away with lives? Having to restart a level is PLENTY punishment for dying. This game went from being very enjoyable to being a frustrating waste of my time. This is the internet. This is newgrounds. Out of all the stuff people could be doing, do you really think they're going to bother replaying a moderately entertaining flash game a dozen times just to beat it? I bet 99 percent of the people that have played your game haven't beaten it.

good game, needs some tweaking
i would suggest putting in some sort of save feature, the game is too long to have a base amount of lives and thats it. when i get a game over, i dont want to replay the entire game again so i just stop playing, whereas if there was a save feature i would continue to play.

good game!
Few suggestions:
save system- it was really annoying that you could lose the kind of progress that takes at least an hour on one level, this made it feel like a demo
upgrades- I know 13 year olds who can shoot a bow farther than Parthian can
graphics- fix their legs, they look like they have no pants on
damage- the average footsoldier can't take a hit in the stomach or legs and just keep going
blood- you need it, man

Fungame
The first boss game quite challangingand took alot of my lives it wouldnt hurt to make him easier, And i lost a shit load of lives on that dammed hole that u made 2 big.Otherwise it was a gerat game.

pretty fun
the first boss was fun for me. I jumped in the air and shot an arrow and kill him but at the same time he killed me. I was like crap, we both died, fortunately it counted as me winning
