Update: Bug fixes (lagging less) and highscore changes.

Here I present my newest game, Retron!
Make sure you play this game for a few seconds, might be easy to you but hard to others so don't go all pointing at it's too easy or too hard.

"Pros and cons"

I think tbh, the twist in the gameplay didn't do anything for me.

So the camera is spinning around? It has potential, but I don't think you made the most of it, it's actually just annoying after a few minutes.

I didn't really find it challenging either, not because of the difficulty, It's fair enough at first, and eases you in which is good, but the player eventually just gets spammed with enemies and i got bored of bashing my space-bar when i knew there was way to enemies to have a chance.

Maybe some extra weapons, or some bosses that can make use of the moving camera, or just something else to give this game a little bit more of a dynamic. Which it needs.

I'm not trying to bash your game, the whole thing is really slick, very cool visuals and I generally thought it was fun. I just think there are things that you can build.

"A new spin on classic retro game"

date: September 25, 2009

This game was great, easy to control yet challenging due to the the constant shifting of the screen. And the music really pulls you into the game and goes great with the retro space shooter theme. Overall this game was awesome, and anyone who is into this type of reto shooter games should play it.

a grea job on the game i love the idea of how it constantly changes and how you get mixed up with the controls for exaple when its upside down your brain is telling you to use the up and down keys not left and right. the animation was basic because you set it out as a "retro" game. i think your lacking some coprehension skills though :) when you die it says your ship a splode that made me laugh. its also really good how more and more colour ships come in although its like a flood of them which is bad it is really easy so that sucks you should make it that when more ships come in they have a stronger lifespan so you would have top shoot them 2 or 3 times. the sounds were also very good. you can barly hear the ship shooting but thats good because it makes it more real also i know you didnt make the audio that was playing but i can only say it was amazing and it fit in to the game very well. The pickup how when you collect it it destroys most of the ships was great only there should be more like when you pick it up you should get a lazer upgrade although i really really really really really enjoyed playing this game its only a 9 if only i could give you a 9.99 but i cant if only there were those little things i said in the game i guarentee you you would get front page a 5 trophies :) its amazing i will give you
9/10 and 5/5

"Nifty and Trippy"

date: August 6, 2009

Well as graphics go, the artwork and animation were both great. It flowed very smoothly, although the firing on the bullets could've been a bit faster, it still worked out swell. As for the sound, the nostalgic blasts from the ship and such was just great, but that's all it was. The background music was a very nice choice as well. The controls worked superbly, moving your ship is easy and firing is also a breeze to do. The gameplay however is hit and miss. First off the idea of having the screen move all around while you're playing is quite the nifty little idea... and that's it. It surprises you at first, but then it gets boring once you know how the pattern goes and then it gets boring. Also the enemies are just storming down on you to where it's hard to figure out where to move... it truly is too easy you can just sit there and just fire in one spot and hardly move at all... there really is no challenge at all. If this game was handled in stages and had more movements or if it truly flipped and made it mirrored to where left is right and right is left then this game would be better. If you plan on a sequel take these notes into hand.
