"It was good overall."

date: January 23, 2007

It was great overall. It had relatively good graphics and I liked the level of difficulty it had. It wasn't hard at all but it wasn't a piece of cake either. You just have to know how to pull off all the stunts that you come across. I liked how it had a tutorial at the beginning. I always like beginning tutorials cuz it teaches me how to play the game and it helps me play the game better. It was a good thing that the save hoops were there too. The graphics also looked well done in general. I also found it creative and original. It had a great hell-like environment also. If I had made this game, I probably would have never thought of some of the stuff in this game, such as the designs of the demons that try to get you or even the whole idea of this game! The music during the intro was excellent. I also thought that the way the shadows of Santa and the title letters moved was cool. I had never seen it done before! Some things could have been better though. The gates and the horns of the floating demon with the chains could have been done better. The 3D graphics you had in this game had it's ups and downs. I liked the cutting blades that were made from the 3D graphics and the 3D graphics definately made the cutting blades more realistic; not so much for the save hoops though. Plus, the 3D graphics just didn't really seem to belong with the rest of the 2D graphics of the game. However, I think that you should include 3D graphics in the next one; prehaps you could even include more 3D graphics in the next one than in this game. It personally think that it is possible to make the 3D graphics blend in better with the rest of the 2D graphics. Having 3D graphics in games where everything else is 2D animation can either hurt or help the game. You just have to pull them off right. What to do next time is all up to you. Do what is you. ;-)
Perhaps the number one thing that I didn't like was how burning rocks would suddenly drop down on you when you pulled particular switches. That wasn't fair! How am I supposed to know that a burning rock is going to suddenly drop down on me when I pull a particular switch the first time?! That just makes the game cruel. But, it did remind me of how life is. Since the burning rocks that suddenly drop down on you when you pull a particular switches is cruel and unfair it reminded me of life since life is also cruel and unfair. Since life is cruel and unfair, it reminded me of hell since hell is cruel and unfair and since life is like hell. Since the environment Santa was walking through was suppossed to be hell and since this game is entitled "Santa in Hell", the burning rocks that suddenly drop down on you when you pull certain switches makes the game more realistic and ultimately more like hell since hell is cruel and unfair. Therefore, the burning rocks that suddenly drop down on you when you pull certain switches makes the game better by making the game more realistic by making it more like hell since it is cruel and unfair and since the environment Santa what walking through was supposed to be hell and since the game is entitled "Santa in Hell". ;-)

Way to go, yo! I'll be waiting for the next one. ;-)
