Gift of Ages is an animation I made in about a week and a half for my church's Christmas program.

Ah, there's so much to say about this one, but I somehow feel that explaining it will make it weaker. I should hope that the piece is strong enough to stand on its own without my having to prop it up with words.

And so for some of you I might have ruined Christmas. But to everyone else, I hope you've enjoyed this presentation and that it brings new meaning to the secular symbols we see annually.

Programs used: Flash 8, openCanvas, 3D Studio Max, and Sound Forge. All 3D work was done by my brother Brian (thanks!), and the music is Chopin's Etude in E major Op.10 No.3, as heard in the OST for Fullmetal Alchemist.

Very, very nice

This was a beautiful little short. Great piece of storytelling, and the imagery and symbolism was spot-on. You got the music from Fullmetal Alchemist, didn't you? Could use a credit on that, but asides from that, great piece.

Classy.

I'm not religious or anything but this is a really great cartoon with a unique style, you did a great job. I obviously dont have to say that the graphics were brilliant, but the storytelling was very well judged, it gets the message across without being preachy. Nce.

Wow!

What fantastic imagery to tell the Gospel!

The whole Christmas tree covered by the sins of the world and such was very clever.

Excellent animation, I'm sure your church loved it!
