Upon playing Bullet Bill 1, I can safely say, that game sucked. However, with this new version of Bullet Bill, I must say, I'm quite impressed. The art and graphics are obviously upgraded to 16-bit, but the control is way better. With the mouse now in control, you can move quicker, and have enough time to react... I also enjoy the change of scenery... from land, to cave, to haunted castle. It'd also be good to mention the boss battles, which don't suck, and the unlockable outfits. But, thank you god, you put in Check points.... that.. just made my day. Now unfortunately, there are some downsides, which are... that the game is still trial and error, and that the control is still slightly screwed up. However, you have tried both, so I can't penalize you for that.... there's just no perfect control scheme. And maybe next time, a save program can take the place of the password system. Overall, this game is WAY better than the first one... that was a piece of shit(sorry). This is way better, however... if you could change a few things... maybe it could work out.
