My second completed effort. Again, this is more of a self-tutorial in Flash than an attempt to strike comedy gold, but I hope it amuses you anyway.

Winking Thinking

Nice, subtle idea. Abstract and kinda of funny at the same time. You have a good sense of mischief and the absurd. Enjoyed your thinking.

For your next toon, maybe get someone to help with the sound. It was very muddy. Your animation style needs a little more personal flair. I'm sure that wiill come with time and effort.

Concentrate on your strong suit - storytelling. Your main cosmic moose character has great potential.

lesserdemons responds:

Thanks for the advice. About the sound - I'm assuming you're talking about the cop's voice: well that was me (a, um, female) processed through Audacity. I guess it didn't work as well as I hoped.

oooo

Pretty good, that =) nicely drawn and kinda funny =P

[your preloader doesn't work properly, btw.]

lesserdemons responds:

Can you explain how the preloader didn't work? I must admit I don't know much about them (I downloaded one from FlashKit). Are the NewGrounds ones pretty much foolproof?

*A round of applause*

This was very amusing, very well done, and beats so much of the crap that comes through the portal. I'm voting 5 on this based purely on your excellent effort.

Decent, but SLOW

I think it was a funny idea, but it just took forever. The sound effects were odd (mostly the poking of the balloon), the speach was oddly slow and the whole movie was very slow-moving. I think a faster pace would have been much more efficient.

The graphics were pretty good and the intro and exit were good.

3/5

Like. wow man!

That was cosmic and comic. Really good animation, better drafting than is common here as well.

Cool cautionary tale about greed and Kharma. The universe really does get him. Also nice contrast, with the innocent able to hold the cosmos without danger.
