This is an introduction to the Flash user environment for aspiring developers! I made this in 1999, so it is probably featuring the Flash 3 layout. Things haven't changed TOO MUCH, though, so it's still a decent intro.

I am submitting this to the Portal before I overhaul our tutorial page to be part of the collection system. To make a long story short, all the tutorials need to be in the Portal in order to be featured through the database system. This tutorial was never part of the Portal before.

Yes CS3 isn't any good at all. (they killed the oval tool!) Flash 8 has always been my favorite, but Flash MX might be good too.

Good tutorial

Was quite informative and the interactivity was a nice touch. Shame none of the things that it told me to do worked since I have Adobe Flash CS3. Whenever I make a new symbol and click "OK" the whole page goes blank and I have to go to Edit>Undo Enter Edit Mode and When you say to select frame 10 it doesn't let me and there is no Set>Keyframe either. :( Not your fault It's just that I got the dumb program instead of Macromedia flash or whatever it is.
