Pong, but with power-ups and items. I know the idea isn't very original; this was more a test to see where I am with Actionscript. Still, it's pretty kickass.
The powerups don't add too much.

I'm always saying in my reviews that people need to put original ideas into their games, and you did one of the things that I always suggest, put in variables. The graphical layout wasn't bad, and the sound was pretty calming.

For some reason, the variables in this game really didn't add much. Perhaps it is because of the default play, which is slow and predictable, and this doesn't change a whole lot with power-ups. I only got four of the power-ups which is kind of lame, and I played quite a few rounds.

its just pong changed a bit here and there. nothing new. sorry man, but good luck in the future, im sure you'll make something ground breaking.
Your Onto Something....
Take the idea of Pong with powerups and being extreme, but try and make it more extreme. The game just didn't come off as extreme. Remake it and call it like Pong Xtreme, have great graphics, like a black background and bright yellow and blue colors with a lightning feeling. Have the pong bar start off a lot faster, have powerups continue on after scores, make some powerups timer based like the invisable paddle. Make good powerups go away if u miss and ur opponent scores. Do something like +2 for every score and -1 for every miss to mix it up. Make it feel more fluid, more intense background, better sound effects, and so on.

NG is a place for people who believe they have good flash skills to give something enjoyable to the NG community if your flash does not seem up to par with at least the average flash don’t submit it. (many of us don’t submit because of this such as me)
