Pete says: Hyaaagh hagh. Now I know why all those people put "FRONTPAGE?! AWESOME!! I LOVE YOU GUYS!" when they make it here. This is one hell of a feeling. Stick that in your pipe and smoke it, SgtPooPoo! :D

Well, this was Peter's first proper animation for university and David's first solid work of sound design, and it was a fully collaborative effort. Pete didn't think this would have worked with crappy sound - and animating it silently was torture, so he relished watching whole bits he'd done at a time WITH SOUND, thanks to Dave! XD

Those of you who have seen Proffate's other animations will notice that the aliens in this work look suspiciously like the ones from the Immigrant filmclip. This was intentional. It's a nod... nay, a requiem to the alien couple from the filmclip that he was promised would be put on MTV. Unfortunately, JC decided to fold. As in, totally give up. Assface.
Anyway, this will be hopefully entered into a few competitions sometime soon...

Originally, this film was mixed in Dolby 5.1 surround sound. For this version, it's toned down, but we still tried to keep the quality as high as possible.

"Another masterpiece from Pro Fate and Doyvid"

date: April 28, 2008

I am amazed at how profound this is. You don't see flash like this every day on NG... unless you onl watch Pro-fate's videos that is. It is a great addition to his spectacular portfolio. The design of the film is solid and the story is heartbreakingly poignant. The graphics and animatiopn ae also awesome. I was very impressed by the sound work as well. Doyvid really outdid himself. Congrats on bing responcibl for such a wonderful achievment and thank for another amazing contribution o the portal. I give this 5 Hypothetical Pancakes out of 5.

"Good movie"

But that was just horrible how they mercilessly killed those babies for small faults! I got it from the beginning that she wanted a child, so I don't understand how that wouldn't make sense. But I liked the movie otherwise, and the second alien was my favorite.

"The message is clear"

Be thankful for what you have- That was clear when the first two babies, were killed by a overly meticulous father. He wanted everything, but ended up with nearly nothing.

I had no idea Aliens had a hard time conceiving! Maybe that's why they probe us =P Nice story with a good message (like everyone else has been saying). Good job.

"Hmm"

Because it was quite original in my opinion, I just have to give it a ten, not to mention it was interesting to watch so you also get a five. ^.^
