Cheat code:
(1)GOD MODE: press "Shift+2+P" during playing: no one can beat you.
(2)Press "Shift+2+S", while press "OK" button in the game options, you get SPREAD GUN as default weapon, and "Shift+2+L" for laser gun, etc.
Tips: Harder difficulty (in the game options) result in higher score!
(Cheat code may get your hiscore halved or rejected)
Contra(or Probotector) is originally an arcade game released in 1987 by the Konami corporation. This anniversary edition features more options and better effects with an advanced hiscore system.

20th anniversary? Am I missing something? This is just Contra but just slower, more laggy, and worse controls.
Just go to Virtualnes to play the real thing people

Quite Entertaining
~Good~
The weapons ammo and upgrades and such were so well copied keep up that with such good copies you might as well be playing Contra for the computer. Such a nice tribute for the 20th Year Anniversary and the sound effects and music were cloned perfectly, my favorite part about Contra done so well in this. The stages and instructions were so clear and simple as well as the storyline being very generously explained as I had totally not expected that.
~Improve~
The preloader was even fuzzy for the actual Contra game even in High Qualtiy a bit the harder difficulties were really lagging and hard to play. The difficulty was always really difficult for anyone who isn't a real Contra fan I'm not to good at Contra so it took me a long time to beat the game on Easy and Medium as for Hard and Insane, I never did. But still a great job!
~Overall~
Some good copies of stuff in here but if your just looking for a shooter or video game remake it's to hard but a true contra fan would absolutely love this!

Fun and classic
I remember some good times with this game. The 9 is because you didn't include the most important cheat code of all. Up up down down left right left right b a start select.
