Originally introduced on Newgrounds in 1999, before the current Portal system.
Earth is doomed and the US is in a fight against Russia for control of a new planet! Your ship is entirely controlled by the mouse.
I originally made this game in 1999, but over the years NG has grown a lot and there was no longer a place for it outside of the Portal system. So here it is!
Specific Music Credits:
Lavender Hill Mob (Shok, aka FDA on NG) - Initial Battle
Strict Nine - Hyper-Drive Sequence
Dan (Last Name Unknown) - Boss
Zeitmahl (Also Shok) - Initial Battle
Zeitmahl - Mid-Boss 2
Shok - Sky
Shok - Boss
Dan (Last Name Unknown) - Finale
ehh not to good
its nothing new or impressive and the game play seems to lack and is way to fast you cant hit like half the ships
maybe its not awesome for principles of today, but for 1999 its da bomb!
I got the flash mx trial from a book one time and it was really hard to program in it (you couldnt type...)
but tom was using flash 3 or 4 here! I cant imagine how hard it must have been to program in that, so remind that when you say you can make it in one day, in 1999 you couldnt.
You people do realize that Tom made this game in 1999, correct?
Can't really expect something that old it to be a flash masterpiece now, can you?
way to fast
the game was to fast. I had no chance of hitting hardly 50% of those ships. Plus, to hurt the matter the health for your ship is really low.
To the point.
To put it simply, that game was crap. Much too fast pace, no upgrade system, poor damage ratios, sucky power-ups, and very poor art.
