Originally introduced on Newgrounds in 1999, before the current Portal system.
Earth is doomed and the US is in a fight against Russia for control of a new planet! Your ship is entirely controlled by the mouse.
I originally made this game in 1999, but over the years NG has grown a lot and there was no longer a place for it outside of the Portal system. So here it is!
Specific Music Credits:
Lavender Hill Mob (Shok, aka FDA on NG) - Initial Battle
Strict Nine - Hyper-Drive Sequence
Dan (Last Name Unknown) - Boss
Zeitmahl (Also Shok) - Initial Battle
Zeitmahl - Mid-Boss 2
Shok - Sky
Shok - Boss
Dan (Last Name Unknown) - Finale
not a good game
you can really tell that this game was made in 1999, the graphics are horrible and the sounds not very good ether
I liked the mouse control and the rather fast movement of the enemy suicide peoples. But not much other than that.
We've come a long way
The mouse control was good, I liked that. Sadly, that's about all I liked. Even bearing in mind that this game came out in '99, it's pretty bad. The incessant stream of one type of suicide attacker, combined with that -insane- asteroid sequence and the minimal upgrades make this game extremely dull and rather frustrating.
very well done for '99. peosonally i gave up after the first boss. whats up with that dragon breath attack?
again well done
This was pretty good for 1999, but it's pretty hard. I'm not a bad gamer, but I'm not nearly the best. Maybe give people more than one life, my attention span was pretty short with this game, needs more power-ups, but overall it was pretty good.
Reiko is a perfectly normal red-eyed, pointy-eared, sadistic little demon girl.
Foamy the squirrel gets a lot of fanmail and he's sick of it!
