I think that you've done a wonderful job here. The images went very well with the music. It's very minimalistic, but you got everything important across. And it undoubtedly sped up the process... who knows if you would've ever finished it if you had started with a too-complex graphical style.

And yet, I'll still say that you could work on developing your drawing style. Don't go in the direction of making it overly complex and formal, though! I love the simplicity of it here, because it really allows the emotions in your hand to shine through without getting drowned out by too much unneeded detail. But there is always room for improvement - just keep going further in that direction. Learn and understand the world, and your drawing will improve.

Thanks for explaining your intentions to an earlier reviewer, by the way. I got many emotions from this film and a few of the themes, but I didn't really understand it as a whole at first.

"Simple...but"

This has quite the meaning behind it...the rain signifying sadness, the boy...the soul. The butterfly is the fragility in us all...and the old man our thoughts and dreams. The doctors that take him back to that dream through the us of medicine are the horrors that we ourselves experience.

Innocence within a dream is of itself an experience worth remembering forevermore. So thus do we, as a species believe in such a power and that power guides and destroys us. We fall, others stand, this is life and a dream is but that life caught in the web of our imagination.

"Questions..."

Are you any of the characters?
Was the butterfly the guy in the bed?
Is that why when the character touched the butterfly he saw its past?
Can you answer this questions or you have no idea off any of them?
Why did you put a dream in flash?
Was it exactly the dream or not? I woudn't be able to make a dream an animation...
It's weird but's too normal for a dream...
Any way, it was nice...

This was a decent animation, i do wish it ahd some color though, it might even be better with some color, but for what it is its good animation, keep up the good work.
