it was funny that the human pet dropped the dog's drink, the graphics were also not bad ^-^

CalicoMonkey responds:

Coo, thank you for the comments.

CalicoMonkey responds:

I'll mark this in the positive category.

Good work

I really enjoyed this flash. Short, to the point, no gimmicks, in a word, Perfect. Very well done. In fact, i headed over to your site to see what else you had. Very good stuff there. Keep up the good work man.

CalicoMonkey responds:

Thank you very much for the kind words. I'm searching for my own groove and I appreciate the validation toward that.

That was alright.

The artwork and the animation were all quite nice and smooth. I thought this had potential to be really good, however it was way to short. You didn't really get enough time to settle into enjoying it, as it was over to quickly. It'd be better if future releases are longer, other than that everything was fine. Maybe add some more sound, but I don't really think that its too important.
Anyways, keep up the good work.

CalicoMonkey responds:

For the time being I'm trying to concentrate on short, quality content. The intention has always been to emulate Sunday morning comics, just in animated form. I realize this makes it shorter than typical newgrounds cartoons, but I'm trying to create my own niche.

The comments I've seen have been overwhelming in the "it's too short" area. I take this as a huge compliment that more of my work wants to be seen. Still, I'm going to investigate some cheap (read: less time-consuming) methods of extending the length of the episodes without disrupting the flow of the animation.

Regardless, thank you very much for the comments!
