I've always wanted to play a Murloc on World of Warcraft, but I knew that wasn't going to happen... So I created my own game! I've been secretly developing an RPG engine for months, which includes:

20 Talents,
50+ Items,
Lots of enemies to battle,
Lots of areas to explore,
And a fully developed storyline!

Over 1 hour of gameplay, this is a full RPG developed on Flash. If you're not into RPGs, please consider the work put into this game when you vote. WARNING: You must have Flash Player 8!

*NOTE: Most people think the game froze when you get the message "Yes I'm ready, Give me a few minutes" The game did NOT freeze. Kagle is asking you if you're ready. You should click on either "Yes, I'm ready" or "Give me a few minutes."

Controls (available in-game):
A and D or Arrows to move Left and Right
Hold Control to run.
Use Spacebar to interact.

Oh my head

Ok.. its now 2:52 in the morning, I am exhausted, cranky, sleepy, and something is growing out of my foot. Why? Because I just spent over 2 hours trying to finish this game. Why? Because this game is awesome.

Things I must say: the leveling system is so simple it hurts. You RARELY have to spend an hour walking around hoping to gain enough xp to kill the next creature. Careful planning and the use of your talents make everything ever so easy!

I have finished the game, 'somehow' reached the hidden challenge (Note: I will never think Execute is the most useless skill of all ever again. Sirath was freaking evil!) And i am proud to say that I enjoyed every minute of it.

I look forward to the next game you make... but one more thing... can i keep my equip? I want that weapon I just got! whaaaaaaaaaaa!

un-mediocre responds:

There are a few secrets in the game, like the locked chest and another that nobody seemed to have found! I'll try to carry equipment from this game to the next. Thanks for the comments :)

Very unique!

I love how you kept the movement so simple, just going left and right, very nice. Although it would have been nice to have a little explaination screen or something when you start a new game, I didn't even know I had a dagger to equip until my third wolf. It's not much fun killing a 15 HP wolf in 15 hits (but that's probably just me being dumb, RPG players may have instinctively opened the inventory first?).

Also, perhaps move the Fury and Magic tabs on the talent selection pop-up to the bottom, I was used to looking there for tabs because of the other pop-ups, and I didn't notice that there were other talents to choose from until Princess (again, probably just me).

For anyone starting out, I would suggest getting Heroic Strike first, then Mark of the Wild second (the armor helps a lot in the beginning).

Keep up the good work, this was a lot of fun :)

Theres a small controls screen when you press "?", maybe I should add a section explaining inventory and equipping/unequipping items. Thanks for the comments :)

Pretty Cool

Very fun game, can't wait to beat it. There are a few minor glitches, but they don't necessarily make the game unplayable. There is an extensive range of items and spells which really suprised me. Also, the mix of 3d and 2d environments helps the overall feel of the game. I like, I like.

Thanks :)

Great Job

First of all, this was in the Warcraft section before it passed, AND on the frontpage before it passed. Now for the review, although Im sure you already heard all of this on the forums.

GRAPHICS[9]-- The graphics were good, but not yours, so it is only a 9. But they were taken pretty well from the game, and all of the other graphics were good.

STYLE[10]-- Although RPG's are pretty common, this was just plain better than the rest. It was very well done to be just like WoW, with the exception of the battle system. The skill points, and quests were very good, and te save system was a nice feature as well.

SOUND[8]-- The battle sounds were OK, but the looping music got kind of annoying. I realize because of file size that you couldn't include too much music, so that why I didnt give you lower than an 8.

VIOLENCE[10]--Killing things, what more can I say?

INTERACTIVITY[10]-- The backpack systems and shop systems were great, along with the character screen. The conrolls were fine, except than CTRL should toggle walk and run, so you dont have to hold it down.

HUMOR[6]--I always liked the Murlocks, expect you should have named the guy Murky like in WoW, it suits him much better. (In WoW you could get a Murlock as a pet, who sings and dances, and his name is Murky)

OVERALL[10]-- Few games get a perfect 10, and I think that this game really deserved it. You claim that the actionscript was easy, but I doubt that. Making the engin must have been a bitch, and making all the enimies as well. The inventory system must have been hard as well. Few people acually understand how much effort and actiopnscripting go into games like this, and I just wanted to let you know that it didnt fall short on me. I hope we helped while beta-testing yuur game over in the forums. Wow. This review took a long time to write, and you better respond to it. Im expecting great things from you in the future. Thanks for making this great game, and good luck.
