such a powerful ending
funny how not many people got it.
Personally I blame the Pandora's box, and the Garden of Eden story which teaches us early on that there is only "hope" we can improve, however all other evil will forever be there, like the can.
However step outside of eternal criticism of ones self, and simply instruct others to improve, that we are not all bad. That things can change, look at it this way, and one will start to care and do their small part to help the world. Picking up a can out of a river won't get you into heaven, but if everyone did it we wouldn't need a new world to begin with.

I love this author's koan-like story lines. So simple, yet so evasive. Poignant and at times brutal, but with classical music.

ummm?
Every time you miss the trash can it gets caught on a rock???? I thought you were a hippie at first saying save the planet but...there's not even that message. This had absolutely no point but you get a 1 for good animation and not being a hippie.
