The 4th episode of BadGuys. I’m going to stop numbering these things. There’s really no reason to.
About the First Scene:
The scene is NOT me whining about people not liking me, that would be dumb after winning one of the monthly prizes. I’m not that ungrateful. I initially wrote it at the end of October as sort of a joke in response to the few really negative reviews I’ve gotten. But, I’ve said it before, I don’t have any hatred for anybody. I wouldn’t have included the scene if it was just to further petty internet bickering. I just thought it was funny. I’m not trying to make a big deal out of anything. It’s no longer aimed at anyone in particular. It’s just a general comment on needlessly abusive and unconstructive reviews (for any submission, not just my own).
That isn’t to say that you shouldn’t criticize. You should. But try to be constructive and well-mannered. I don’t see any reason to be hostile unless you’re actually angry at the author, and it seems silly, pointless and childish to be upset at someone for creating something you don’t enjoy. Anywho, I realize I get far more positive reactions than abusive ones, so this time around the latter won’t even get a response from me. I’ve been neglecting the mature reviews.
About the Music:
You can find it all in the audio portal (links to the left). It’s all mostly done in Fruity Loops (FL Studio 5). But the concertina (accordion sounding thing in “Evicted” and “From Heaven”) was actually played by me. Not a live performance, per se. I sort of recorded one note, or sometimes one chord, at a time, and pieced it together in Fruity Loops. I really couldn’t play it live, as some of the notes can’t physically be played at the same time on the instrument. Also, even when I use Fruity Loops for my music, I always start out writing the music on guitar and/or piano. And I never use any pre-made loops.
And Finally:
The next episode of BadGuys will be called Down At Juice Bar. It’ll be ready sooner than this one was. I was making both of these episodes at the same time.
