Kickin' It With Mr. Flig

Battle Lemons have robbed the Superbank, and only Mr. Flig can stop them.

Mr Flig, a blue lump, is released from jail by two FBI sperms who need his help catching the mysterious thieves who’ve robbed the SuperBank. Be amazed by his Dirty Harry-style quest for some kinda justice in a “no kinda justice” world.

Kickin’ It With Mr. Flig is an explosive blend of improv, silly voices and straight-ahead animation. As an experiment in off-the-cuff web ‘tooning, it confounds. As a crime caper pastiche, it thrills. As passionate unfiltered idiocy, it succeeds beyond anyone’s wildest dreams.

I made the series "Kickin' It With Mr. Flig" for an online animation contest which it is about to lose quite definitively. This movie consists of the seven existing episodes of "Mr. Flig" strung together for your convenience (and hopefully, amusement). Check it out; it's a bit of a cack.

About me:

I (David Blumenstein) am a cartoonist/animator living in Melbourne, Australia. Right now I'm working on an upcoming kiddie series.

My 22 minute animated film Herman, The Legal Labrador is currently screening and winning awards at film festivals in countries that speak English (it's wordy). I self-publish a comic book called Nakedfella Comics, manage an online cultural journal/scam called McGinlay’s Internet Possibility and I do various other vaguely cultural things.

I'm currently developing (i.e. it's a fun idea but nobody cares yet) a three minute animated cop series called The Precinct, which would resemble "Kickin' It With Mr. Flig" but look much sexier and have David Byrne and Crispin Glover as regular voices.

I swear I remember seeing this on G4 once, think it was on Attack Of The Show or G4's Late Night Peep Show. It's great that you actually got it aired on actual TV once.

((( ENTERTAINING )))

~~REVIEW~~
This was neat, i really like the strange but neat character, he was abit odd looking but i think thats what made it neat, as for the rest of the flash it made me laugh, i hope you make more of this like in a series or something cuase i couldnt get enough of the funny...

~X~

?

Holy shit that was a short animation, the credits lasted longer. It was a good start of to a story, but you should make it one big animation. Not about 20 little ones.

DBlumenstein responds:

For those who wondered: the reason it's seven short episodes is that it was/is an entry in an animation contest which required it to be such (seven eps, each under 1 min). I considered uploading each one as an individual movie, but I wasn't sure anyone would bother watching them all individually. Cheers for the comments!

Man,

Why did you seperate it into so many episodes? I don`t think it added a lot of value to this series... It was getting quite ennoying... Then again, I didn`t really like this movie either, I just didn`t get the humor :S That`s not so bad, because you drew it quite well and the colors and animations did a good thing, also the sound was very good! That`s why I will still give u a 4! Hope to raise your stats a little :)

Keep it up and keep my advice in mind k?:)

Cya!

nice!

awsome oh and

NOTE:WHEN THE MOVIE ENDS WHEN MR FLIG SAYS FUCK YOURSELF (or something)IT STILL CONTINUES!
